黄金、宝石和钻石的重量测量

宝石和钻石的重量单位有克拉和克。一克拉等于0.2克,单位“克拉”

(carat)来源于人们古时用于称重的角豆树(carob)种子的谐音。

黄金是以“开”(karat)衡量,代表合金中金的纯度,常用大写字母“K”

或“Kt”表示,以区别于宝石的重量单位克拉(carat)。

Weight Measurements

for Gold, Gemstones and Diamonds

The weight of gemstones and diamonds is measured in carat and

gram. One carat is equal to 0.2 grams. The word “carat” is taken from the

carob seeds that people once used in ancient times to balance the scales

Gold is measured in karat, referring to the percentage of gold

in alloys. Karat, in gold measurement, is usually written with a capital “K”

or “kt” to provide a distinction from “carat” for gemstones measurements.
