“The New and Largest Gems & Jewelry Museum in Asia”
With an aim to provide knowledge and understanding about
Thailand gemstones, the museum depicts the story of gemstones
from upstream to downstream. The live museum presents in 3D
movie the gemstone excavation and mining in Thailand for over
100 years. There are 5 exhibition zones in the
museum:
Zone 1: The Formation of Gemstones.
Zone 2: Collections of Large Uncut
Gemstones from Various Sources.
Zone 3: Treasure of the Earth through the miniaturized
world map of gemstone deposits by using hi-tech Presentation.
Zone 4: World of Gems & Jewelry, highlight in miniature
crowns of important monarchs from different dynasties that are
decorated with beautiful gemstones.
Zone 5: Ploychan, a pride in Thai heritage dated back for
more than 1,000 years.
Moreover, the place also serves as gems & jewelry
distribution center with over 40 booths selling quality products to
interested customers.
