The quality and value of a ruby / sapphire
depend on a combination of the following criteria:
Carat Weight
น้ําาหนัก : นํา้หนักของทับทิม / ไพลิน ถูกวัดเป็นกะรัต 1 กะรัต เท่กับ
0.2 กรัม ทับทิม/ไพลิน เม็ดยิ่งใหญ่และมีน้ําหนักมก ยิ่งหได้ยก
Weight of a ruby / sapphire is measured in carats.1 carats
= 0.2 grams. The heavier and the larger the ruby / sapphire,
usually the more rare it is.

Cut refers to the accuracy of the angles, proportions,
symmetry and polish of the ruby /sapphire. It greatly affects how
light travels within the ruby /sapphire, and how it exits in the form
of brilliance.
